VILLA MARTA is a splendid holiday home located in San Fermo della Battaglia, nestled among the gentle hills surrounding Como. Immersed in greenery and tranquility, this villa is the ideal choice for those seeking a relaxing stay just minutes from the city center and the wonders of Lake Como.

The heart of the villa is on the first floor, where a spacious open-plan living area welcomes guests into a modern and refined setting. The kitchen, equipped with state-of-the-art appliances, features a large central island with stools—perfect for breakfast in the morning or an aperitif with friends. Nearby, a large dining table anchors the dining area, ideal for sharing meals and convivial moments. An elegant three-sided glass fireplace frames the cozy lounge area with a corner sofa, made even more intimate by the steps that lower its level. Soft shades of grey and beige, combined with the warm lighting from spotlights and lamps, create a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere, while the classic vintage furniture adds a touch of personality and style. The entire floor opens onto a large terrace overlooking the lush garden of the property, home to thick, centuries-old trees. The upper floor houses the sleeping area, consisting of four bedrooms: two double rooms, one twin room with two single beds, and one single room. The villa also offers four modern bathrooms with showers, one of which includes a comfortable bathtub.

Quality bedding, towels and a courtesy kit are provided. 

We also leave a gift basket with some necessary items for your first breakfast.

The villa features a convenient covered parking space in the garage and an uncovered outdoor area to provide guests with maximum ease for parking.

Any commercial business is forbidden inside the apartment.

In the surroundings of San Fermo della Battaglia, a peaceful town just a few kilometers from Como, there are numerous points of interest to explore. Among them stands out the Basilica of San Fermo e Rustico, dating back to the 10th century, one of the main historical landmarks in the area. The Parco della Spina Verde, stretching across the hills around Como, is the perfect place for nature lovers and outdoor walks. Its trails offer ideal paths for hiking or cycling, with several panoramic viewpoints from which to admire the landscape. Among them, the enchanting Pin Umbrela, a natural terrace overlooking the lake and the city, offers breathtaking views—especially at sunset. Not far away stands the Baradello Castle, an imposing medieval fortress that dominates the Como landscape from above. In just 10 minutes by car, you can reach the historic center of Como, full of charming squares, elegant shopping streets, and cultural attractions. Don’t miss Piazza Duomo, with its magnificent Gothic-Renaissance cathedral, and a stroll along the lakeside promenade. A must-see is Villa Olmo, an elegant neoclassical villa surrounded by a large public park—perfect for moments of relaxation and lakeside walks. The historic Como–Brunate funicular takes you in just a few minutes to the panoramic village of Brunate, offering a spectacular view of the lake, the city, and the surrounding mountains. Finally, Lake Como, with its picturesque villages lining the shore, is easily accessible by boat as well.

How to get there:

By car, take the “Como Centro” exit from the A9 motorway and follow your GPS for about 10 minutes.

By train, from Como S. Giovanni station, walk to the “Como-S. Rocchetto” stop and take bus C75 toward “Como - S. Teresa” for 9 stops (approx. 16 minutes), then get off at “San Fermo - Villaggio del Sole.” From there, it's about a 5-minute walk to the villa.

Alternatively, from Como Lago station, walk to Piazza Verdi (5 minutes on foot) and take bus C75 toward “Como - Battisti” for 17 stops (approx. 25 minutes), again getting off at “San Fermo - Villaggio del Sole.” From there, the villa is a 5-minute walk away.
