There is a warm and homely atmosphere in the MANSARDA VERDE, a welcoming two-bedroom attic apartment located in a small building in a strategic position, right by the lake and along the main road leading to Lugano: the ideal starting point to explore the wonders of Ticino, Lombardy and Piedmont.

This attic apartment welcomes guests with a charming living room, furnished with a dining table for four and a cozy relaxation area with a comfortable sofa and TV, perfect for enjoying pleasant moments together. Natural light pours in through the panoramic window, offering a stunning view over Lake Lugano. The separate kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to cook just like at home. The sleeping area includes two bedrooms: a romantic double bedroom and a single room (with the option of an additional pull-out single bed upon request), making the apartment perfect for both families and groups of friends. A bathroom with a bathtub completes the property.

High-quality bed linen, towels, and a courtesy kit are provided.

You will also find a welcome basket with essentials for your first breakfast.

The apartment also features a private outdoor parking space.

The apartment is just a 3-minute walk from the center of Ponte Tresa and about 5 minutes from the Italian border. The surrounding area offers pleasant lakeside walks: following the promenade for about 2 km leads to the picturesque village of Caslano, home to the well-known Lido di Caslano, perfect for relaxing moments and summer days. Crossing the border, you can easily reach Lavena Ponte Tresa, where you will find numerous shops, supermarkets, restaurants and bars, ideal for shopping and discovering local cuisine. From the pier in Ponte Tresa, boats depart to connect the main villages along Lake Ceresio, offering a scenic way to explore the region. Lugano is also nearby, just 10 km away, with its lively center, boutiques, museums and many cultural and entertainment opportunities.

How to get there:

By car, take the Lugano Nord exit from the A2 motorway and set your GPS. The apartment can be reached in about 15–20 minutes.

By train, from Lugano FLP station take the S60 train towards “Ponte Tresa” (11 stops, about 25 minutes) and get off at the terminus. The accommodation is about 100 meters from the station.
