Visit beautiful Locarno and Lake Maggiore, Bellinzona and the Verzasca Valley in just 10 to 15 minutes by car from the LiOm Apartment! This modern two-room apartment, furnished with taste and creativity, welcomes you with a colourful open-plan living room. In the relaxation corner, there is a large flat-screen TV to watch a movie with friends after a day of sightseeing and a comfortable sofa that converts into a double bed for the night (Please note: the sofa bed is not prepared for your arrival, as we consider it only fair that you use the sofa during non-sleeping hours. You will find sheets, pillows and blankets in the cupboard/shelf closest to the sofa). Next to it is the dining table for 4, opposite the fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare lunches and dinners just like at home. In this room the shades of green and blue blend perfectly with the landscape outside, visible through the large window: from here you can access the balcony overlooking the green of Gudo and enjoy a good glass of local wine at aperitif time!

The bedroom is double and has a wardrobe unit for storing your luggage.

The modern bathroom with shower completes the flat.

A towel set is included for each person, together with bed sheets and blankets; we also give you a courtesy kit. We also leave a basket with the necessary for a breakfast.  Wifi is available for guests.

The flat has a private parking space in the condominium garage.

This apartment with has a SELF CHECK-IN: we will not be present upon your arrival, but, upon the confirmation of your booking, you will receive an e-mail with the INSTRUCTIONS, with photographs and VIDEOS of the entrance and the parking; moreover, you can call us if you need help.

Gudo is a small hamlet nestling in the Bellinzona valleys, renowned for the production of an excellent Merlot wine, whose vines characterise the landscape.

In the vicinity of the flat you will find all amenities, the area is very well served. In just 10 minutes you can reach the centre of Bellinzona, while Lake Maggiore and its most famous resorts, such as Locarno and Ascona, are 15 minutes away.Among the nearest attractions and naturalistic destinations is the Carasc Tibetan Bridge, the suspension bridge 130 m above ground, which can be reached by cable car from Monte Carasso, or on foot along the valley paths. In addition, in 15 minutes you can reach the Verzasca Valley dam, from where the paths to the village of Lavertezzo, famous for its bridge and crystal-clear waters, also start.

How to get there:

If you are driving from the north or south, take the A2 motorway and take exit 47-Bellinzona Sud towards Locarno. Continue on Strada 2 following the GPS directions.

If you are travelling by train, from Locarno station take the Autopostale bus no. 311 towards "Bellinzona, Stazione" for 22 stops and get off at the "Gudo, Pian Marnino" stop. From Bellinzona station, take the PostBus No. 311 towards "Locarno, Rotona" for 16 stops and get off at the "Gudo, Marnino" stop.
