PLEASE NOTE: The villa requires the payment of a DEPOSIT (500 chf). The deposit payment will be requested during the ONLINE CHECK-IN by credit card. The amount will be returned to you within 5/7 days of check-out on the same credit card used for payment, once the apartment is found to be in good condition.

This brand new apartment, furnished with designer furniture, will surprise you with its original details and abundant light coming in through the large windows.Admire the skyline from the comfortable sofa, where you can also relax with a good movie on the large flat-screen TV.

The kitchen, open to the living room, is modern and complete with appliances and everything you need to prepare meals like at home. Opposite is the dining table for 4, where you can have lunch and dinner in front of the large window. 

There are two bedrooms, both doubles, making the apartment perfect for couples of friends and families, but also for business stays, where everyone can have their own privacy.

Concluding the apartment are the two elegant marble bathrooms with modern showers.

A staircase leads to the rooftop terrace, for private use, with a whirlpool, sun umbrella and outdoor furniture for relaxing moments in the open air.

The latest generation technologies, furniture from the best brands and Home Décor with attention to the smallest details make FLAT IRON 18 a reality of the highest living standing. The home automation system with keypad allows you to adjust lights and the interior blackout system, heating and air conditioning.

A set of towels is included in the living room for each person, along with sheets and blankets and a courtesy kit. We also leave a basket with the necessities for breakfast.

Wifi is free and available to guests.

Any commercial activity is forbidden inside the flat.

The Building:

Flat Iron is reminiscent of its New York forerunner and inspirer, with its 6 residential floors and panoramic green terrace overlooking the lake, in the residential area of Via al Lido, in Viganello.

The Flat seems to come from a futuristic future: its soft curves make it an exception in the skyline of the city of Lugano, enriching it with a new original architectural model.

The façade is made of innovative metals and allows views from the inside to the outside, but not vice versa.

State-of-the-art technologies and an interior design that has been carefully studied down to the smallest detail make the Flat Iron flats extremely high standing.

The Flat Iron has been the subject of numerous newspaper articles and TV reports in July 2021 for the great Spiderman climbing its walls: it is this large fibreglass sculpture that still reminds us of New York's Flatiron, where Marvel's Peter Parker used to work as a journalist!

In the immediate nearby there are supermarkets, a gym, pharmacy, post office, and a few minutes' walk to the lakefront: the Lido di Lugano is only 5 minutes' walk away, as is the Lanchetta, a renowned bar and restaurant overlooking the waters of the Ceresio. The Exhibition Centre is also just a few minutes away, making the Flat Iron the ideal base for trade fair events, and the Parco Ciani and its villa.

 

How to get:

By car, from the A2 motorway, take the Lugano Nord exit and set the GPS: in 10 minutes you will reach the apartment.

By train, from Lugano station take bus N.6 towards "Lugano, Cornaredo" for 4 stops and get off at "Lugano, Ponte Madonnetta": in 3 minutes on foot you will reach the apartment. Or take bus No. 3 from the "Lugano, Ai Frati" stop for 9 stops and get off at "Viganello, Bottogno": in 2 minutes on foot you will reach the apartment.
