Just a few steps from the vibrant heart of Como and the Como Borghi train station, ROMANTIC CHIC is a small urban retreat where you can immerse yourself in the authentic atmosphere of the city without compromising on comfort.
Located on the second floor, the apartment blends historic details with modern furnishings: exposed stone and brick walls harmonize with clean lines and light tones, creating a warm and welcoming environment. A perfect balance between old-world charm and contemporary comfort. Upon entering, you find the living area, with a modern open-plan kitchen and wooden dining table, accompanied by a double sofa bed and a TV cabinet—ideal for relaxing after a day exploring the lake and cobblestone streets. (Please note: the sofa bed is not set up for arrival, so you can use it freely during the day; sheets, pillows, and blankets are available in the wardrobe or nearby shelf). The bedroom, thoughtfully designed, features a comfortable double bed and a large wardrobe for easy organization. The apartment is completed by a spacious bathroom with a shower, featuring the same rustic details that make the property unique.
Quality bedding, towels and a courtesy kit are provided.
We also leave a gift basket with some necessary items for your first breakfast.
The apartment does not have private parking, but there are numerous paid public parking spaces in the surrounding streets.
Any commercial business is forbidden inside the apartment.

From the apartment, you can easily reach the best restaurants, shops, and cafés on foot, exploring the lake and city without a car, moving conveniently by walking or public transport. Como Borghi station is only a 5-minute walk, making travel within the city and to nearby towns simple. The historic center of Como is about a 10-minute walk, where you can stroll through cobbled streets, shops, bars, and restaurants, discovering churches and charming squares. Walking distance highlights include Porta Torre, the ancient city gate; Piazza San Fedele, with its Romanesque basilica; Via Vittorio Emanuele, known for shopping; Piazza Volta, lively year-round with aperitifs and outdoor evenings; and Piazza Duomo, featuring the magnificent cathedral and Broletto. In 10–15 minutes on foot, you reach Piazza Cavour, Como’s main square, in front of which is the Navigazione Lago di Como ferry to explore famous lake towns like Cernobbio, Argegno, Menaggio, Bellagio, and Varenna. By foot or city bike, you can also reach Villa Olmo and its park via the picturesque Hangar promenade, or Villa Geno along Viale Geno. At the start of Viale Geno, you’ll find the Funicular station to Brunate, with its panoramic lighthouse, restaurants, and hiking trails to the Lario mountains, with stops at traditional mountain huts along the way.
How to get there:
By car: from the A9 motorway, take the Como Centro exit and continue along Via Cecilio, Via Pasquale Paoli, and Via Napoleona. Using GPS, the property can be reached in about 10 minutes.
By train: a 5-minute walk from Como Borghi station. From Como S. Giovanni station, take bus N4 and get off at the “Como - S. Chiara” stop (6 stops, about 8 minutes). The apartment is about 150 meters from the stop.
