PLEASE NOTE: The villa requires the payment of a DEPOSIT (400 chf). The deposit payment will be requested during the ONLINE CHECK-IN by credit card. The amount will be returned to you within 5/7 days of check-out on the same credit card used for payment, once the apartment is found to be in good condition.

This duplex flat embraces you with flair and elegance in the comfort and warmth of its furnishings, where gold and sand colour intertwine. You will feel at home in the large living room, sitting in an armchair with a good book, or on the sofa sipping a good local wine, looking out over the lake. Next door is the spacious dining room, with a table for 6, and the modern kitchen complete with everything you need to prepare and serve your meals. Chill the best bottle for a big occasion in the wine fridge!

There is also a practical toilet on this floor.

Up the winding staircase you reach the sleeping area. There are two bedrooms, making the flat perfect for couples of friends, families and small groups: the double bedroom and the large suite, which is very bright and overlooks two sides, with a relaxation area and wardrobe furnished with armchairs.

On this floor there is the master bathroom, embellished with a gold mosaic, with a hydro-massage tub.

Washing machine and dryer are at guests' disposal.

A towel set is included for each person, together with bed sheets and blankets; we also give you a courtesy kit. We also leave a basket with the necessary for a breakfast.

Free Wi-Fi for the guests.

The flat does not have a private parking space, but you can park in the public car parks along the street or in the large communal car park (parking charges apply).

Any commercial business is forbidden inside the apartment.

Smoking is forbidden.

Access:

To enter the apartment you have to do a SELF CHECK-IN: we will not be there at your arrival, but upon confirmation of your booking you will receive an e-mail with the INSTRUCTIONS, with photographs and VIDEO for doing check-in by yourself; you can call us if you need help.

Surroundings:

Morcote is one of the most beautiful villages in Switzerland, also called the "Pearl of Ceresio". 

Visit the beautiful Scherrer Park, with rare botanical species and various exotic plants. Don't miss the Church of Santa Maria del Sasso, the monumental staircase and the Torre del Capitano.

Stroll along the lakeside promenade and under the arcades, discovering the shops, boutiques and restaurants, and reach the bathing area in just 5 minutes. From the port of Morcote, you can buy boat tickets and visit the various tourist destinations on the lake.

How to get there:

If you arrive by train, from Melide train station take bus N.431 (direction Lugano, Autosilo Balestra) for 7 stops (approx. 11 minutes) and get off at the stop "Morcote, Piazza Grande". Walk for about 2 minutes (180 m) to reach the building. 

If you arrive by car, from the A2 motorway take the exit "Melide" and follow the GPS directions: in 8 minutes you will reach the flat. Before the village, coming from Melide, at the beginning of Morcote, there is a big sign on the right indicating a municipal car park, where you can leave your car at a convenient rate. From there, walk 200 m to reach the flat.
