To visit Locarno there is nothing better than to start from its heart: stay in LOCARNO CITY APARTMENT 1, in the center just a few steps from the lake and the Piazza Grande!

This lovely studio welcomes you with a cozy living room, consisting of the dining area, with a table for 2, and the TV area where you can relax after a day of sightseeing, with a comfortable sofa that opens into a double bed for the night (Please note: the sofa bed is not prepared for your arrival, as we consider it only fair that you use the sofa during non-sleeping hours. You will find sheets, pillows and blankets in the cupboard/shelf closest to the sofa). There is also a closet for storage. From here you have access to the balcony, furnished with table and chairs to enjoy the mild climate of Ticino: there is room for an aperitif in the open air, sipping a delicious wine of the region!

The kitchen is separate, small but equipped with everything you need to prepare meals.

The bathroom with shower completes the apartment.

A towel set is included for each person, together with bed sheets and blankets; we also give you a courtesy kit. We also leave a basket with the necessary for a breakfast.

Free Wi-Fi for the guests.

Any commercial business is forbidden inside the apartment.

Guests have the access of the whole apartment.

Access: This apartment with has a SELF CHECK-IN: we will not be present upon your arrival, but, upon the confirmation of your booking, you will receive an e-mail with the INSTRUCTIONS, with photographs and VIDEOS of the entrance and the parking; moreover, you can call us if you need help. 

Surroundings:

Locarno is one of the pearls of sunny Ticino, bathed by the gentle waters of Lake Maggiore. The apartment is located just 200 meters from the lake, in the center, in an area served by supermarkets, bars and restaurants for all tastes.

The famous Piazza Grande, where every year is held the Pardo, the world famous Film Festival, is 5 minutes walk. For lovers of history and art, in 10 minutes walk you can reach the Castello Visconteo and the Pinacoteca Comunale Casa Rusca. For an unforgettable view reach the Sacro Monte Madonna del Sasso on foot or by taking the funicular.

On foot you can reach in a few steps the Motta lakeside promenade that continues on Viale Verbano, towards the beautiful park that runs along the lake, the beautiful Seepromenade Locarno Muralto.

From here there are also numerous boats to the main tourist resorts on the lake, such as Ascona and the Brissago Islands. The Lido of Locarno is 1 km away.

How to get there:

By car, from the A13 freeway take the Locarno exit and continue for about 1.5 km to the apartment building.

By train, from Locarno station walk about 8 minutes to the apartment, or take the bus N.1 / N.7 / and get off at the bus stop "Locarno, Debarcadero".
