Experience a relaxing and sporty vacation away from the hustle and bustle of the city in the GREEN FAIDO apartment! This cozy one-bedroom apartment is located in the municipality of Faido, the largest in the Leventina Valley only 40 minutes from Bellinzona, among the mountains but surrounded by all services and well connected by the A2 highway to all areas of Ticino.

The apartment consists of a living room, with a TV area and a comfortable sofa that becomes a single bed for the night, and a dining area with a table for 6 where you can have lunch and dinner with friends, and a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare lunches and dinners just like at home. You can also dine outside in the large garden, equipped with table and chairs and with a barbecue available for guests, for a pleasant barbecue surrounded by the mountains!

The bedroom is double and has a closet for storage even for longer stays. Concluding the apartment is a bathroom with a tub where you can relax after a day of walking along the valley trails.

A set of towels is included in the stay for each person, along with sheets and blankets and toiletries. We also leave a basket with the necessities for a breakfast.

The apartment does not have private parking, but parking is available in Faido's free public parking lots.

Faido is the largest municipality in Leventina, only 40 minutes from Bellinzona, with supermarkets, restaurants, post office and banks. In addition, there is a famous bakery that bakes typical products, 2 pharmacies, a butcher shop, and a dairy of local products.

Among the most visited natural landscapes in the area are the wonderful Piumogna Falls, which are very popular with tourists in summer.

For mountain lovers, there are many trekking routes to the peaks of Pizzo Pettine, Pizzo Molare, Pizzo Forno, and Carì, famous for its popular ski area during the winter, which can be reached in 15 minutes.

A famous municipality in the area is Chironico, a major destination for climbers from all over Europe, is 25 minutes away: this is where many sportsmen come to boulder in the Bouldering Area created thousands of years ago. 

How to get there:

By car, either from the south (Bellinzona) or the north (Erstfeld) from the A2 highway take exit 43 - Faido towards Faido and set the GPS: in 4 minutes you will reach the apartment.

By train, from Lugano or Bellinzona take the S10 train towards Airolo for 7 stops and get off at the "Faido" stop. From here, take bus No.119 direction "Faido, District Hospital" for 2 stops and get off at the stop "Faido, Municipal Weighbridge": In 4 minutes walk you will reach the apartment.
