FLAT IRON 6 is a spacious and bright 50sqm studio apartment on the first floor of a futuristic new building in Viganello. The perfect place for a couple, a business traveller or for design lovers.

PLEASE NOTE: The villa requires the payment of a DEPOSIT (300 chf). The deposit payment will be requested during the ONLINE CHECK-IN by credit card. The amount will be returned to you within 5/7 days of check-out on the same credit card used for payment, once the apartment is found to be in good condition.

The open-plan living room has a kitchen equipped with everything you need to prepare your meals: enjoy an aperitif overlooking the small balcony or sit on the modern sofa in the TV area. Every space is created to give you comfort: a foldaway double bed will allow you to sleep in comfort separated from the living area; the table for 4 is perfect for eating but also as a workstation. The large glass facade with its sinuous and original shape floods the space with light. A beautiful bathroom with shower completes the flat.

The latest technologies, the furniture of the best brands and the home décor with attention to the smallest details make FLAT IRON 6 a reality of the highest living standards.

A set of towels is included in the living room for each person, along with sheets and blankets and a courtesy kit. We also leave a basket with the necessities for a breakfast.

Wifi is free and available to guests.

Any commercial activity inside the flat is prohibited. Guests have access to the entire flat. Smoking is prohibited. All commercial activity is forbidden inside the flat. Flat Iron is reminiscent of its New York forerunner and inspirer with its 6 residential storeys and panoramic green terrace overlooking the lake, in the residential area of Via al Lido in Viganello.

The Flat seems to come from a futuristic future: its soft curves make it an exception in the skyline of the city of Lugano, enriching it with a new original architectural model. The façade is made of innovative metals and allows the view from the inside to the outside, but not vice versa.

The Flat Iron has been the subject of numerous newspaper articles and TV reports in July 2021 for the great Spiderman climbing its walls: it is this large fibreglass sculpture that still reminds us of New York's Flatiron, where Marvel's Peter Parker used to work as a journalist!

In the immediate nearby there are supermarkets, a gym, pharmacy, post office, and a few minutes' walk to the lakefront: the Lido di Lugano is only 5 minutes' walk away, as is the Lanchetta, a renowned bar and restaurant overlooking the waters of the Ceresio. The Exhibition Centre is also just a few minutes away, making the Flat Iron the ideal base for trade fair events, and the Parco Ciani and its villa. The city centre is just a 15-minute walk away.

How to get:

By car, from the A2 motorway, take the Lugano Nord exit and set the GPS: in 10 minutes you will reach the apartment. By train, from Lugano station take bus N.6 towards "Lugano, Cornaredo" for 4 stops and get off at "Lugano, Ponte Madonnetta": in 3 minutes on foot you will reach the apartment. Or take bus No. 3 from the "Lugano, Ai Frati" stop for 9 stops and get off at "Viganello, Bottogno": in 2 minutes on foot you will reach the apartment.
