Located in Como’s pedestrian historic centre, inside an elegant period building along one of the main streets, just a few steps from the Cathedral and the lakefront, COMO ART APARTMENT combines historic charm with modern comfort.

Upon entering, guests are welcomed into a bright open-plan space: the relaxation area with a double sofa bed is perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing, while the modern, fully equipped open kitchen features a dining table ideal for shared meals (Please note: the sofa bed is not prepared upon arrival, as we believe it is important for guests to be able to use the sofa during non-sleeping hours. Bed linen, pillows and blankets can be found in the wardrobe/shelf closest to the sofa). A French door leads to a charming small balcony offering views over the city rooftops and the surrounding green hills. The spacious double bedroom, accessible through the door next to the kitchen, is equipped with a wardrobe and chest of drawers to comfortably organize your stay. Here too, a large French door fills the room with natural light and overlooks the streets of the city centre. Terracotta flooring adds warmth to the apartment, while reproductions of famous works by Kandinsky and Klimt bring colour and vibrancy, making the space unique and refined. Completing the property is a large, classically styled bathroom with wooden furnishings and a shower.

Quality bed linen, towels and toiletries are provided. We also leave a gift basket with the necessities for your breakfast. Free Wi-Fi available.

The flat does not have a private car park, but there are public car parks a short distance away.

Smoking is strictly prohibited. Any commercial activity inside the flat is forbidden.

Access: Please note that you will enter the flat by performing a SELF CHECK-IN. After successfully completing the online registration, you will be sent an email with INSTRUCTIONS (including a step-by-step guide) on how to access the flat yourself. Nearby: The location of COMO ART APARTMENT allows you to visit the entire city centre on foot. Located in one of the main streets of the historic centre, opposite the Coin building, there are numerous shops, bars and restaurants just below the flat. In 2 minutes you can reach Piazza Cavour, the largest square in Como, in front of which you can take the Navigazione Lago di Como boat and reach the most famous places on the lake (Cernobbio, Blevio, Torno, Laglio, Argegno, Menaggio, Bellagio, Varenna). In 1 minute you can also reach Piazza Duomo and its Broletto, and shopping streets such as Via Vittorio Emanuele. Other squares worth visiting are only a 5-minute walk away, such as Piazza San Fedele and Piazza Volta, the latter of which has become a major meeting point for the city's evening life in recent years with its many restaurants and bars. Also on foot, or by renting city bikes, one can reach Villa Olmo and its park by taking the picturesque walk from the Hangar, and Villa Geno by taking the lakeside promenade of Viale Geno. At the beginning of Viale Geno there is also a funicular railway station to reach Brunate and its lighthouse.

How to get there: By car, from the A9 motorway take the Como Centro exit and drive along Via Pasquale Paoli, Via Napoleona and Viale Innocenzo to reach the centre, or take the Como Lago exit and drive along Via per Cernobbio and Via Borgovico Nuova, from the motorway exit in about 20 minutes following the GPS you will be in front of the flat. You can park in the blue parking spaces (for a fee from 8.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m.) or in the city car parks (Autosilo Parcheggio Centro Lago, Autosilo Valduce, etc.). By train, from Como San Giovanni station take bus C70 in direction "Como Recchi" for 2 stops and get off at "Como Lungolario trento", from there walk for 5 minutes to the flat.
