In the village of Brusata di Novazzano, among rolling hills, vineyards and greenhouses, you can spend a dream vacation in the Castello di Brusata Apartment. 

Recently renovated and simply furnished, this spacious apartment reminiscent of the farmhouses of the Tuscan countryside will welcome you in a familiar and comfortable atmosphere and make you feel at home! 

The apartment is ideal for short and long vacations, for families and groups of friends and business colleagues: everyone has their own privacy thanks to the three bedrooms, two large double bedrooms and a single bedroom, each with a private bathroom complete with shower or bath, decorated with tiles in the colors of the sea. 

A set of towels is included in the stay for each person, along with sheets and blankets.

Located in the center of the attic and furnished with rustic furniture, the large living room is equipped with television, VCR, DVD player and radio, to watch a movie with friends or relax with a good book on sofas and armchairs. Here there is also a children's corner, with table, chairs, books and games for children, and a wonderful piano.

Next to the room is the kitchen, complete and equipped with everything you need to prepare lunches and dinners like at home, to be served and enjoyed on the table for 6. There is also everything to prepare breakfast, with the kettle and espresso and American coffee machines.

In the warm months, guests can enjoy the condominium garden: the lawn, the olive trees and the swimming pool create an ideal environment for a relaxing moment.

Wifi is free and available to guests.

It is forbidden any commercial activity inside the apartment.

The surroundings of Castello di Brusata represent the ideal place to spend a pleasant vacation. The tranquility of the surrounding nature, rich in essences and small animals, and the proximity of small mountain villages and the cities of Mendrisio and Lugano, offer a wide choice of destinations and activities for all tastes.

There are numerous paths in the area, easily covered on foot or by mountain bike. Worthy of note for those who want to relax in the green are also the Breggia Gorge Park and the Motta Valley Park.  In addition to its natural wonders, the Muggio Valley also offers a step back in time thanks to the Bruzella Mill.

The nearby mountains Generoso and San Giorgio, with their small and characteristic villages, represent the ideal destination for itineraries aimed at the knowledge of local realities, offering festivals, fairs, grotti and markets.

Lugano is only 24 km away and can be reached by freeway or by the cantonal road. Easily accessible is also the famous tourist destination of Como and its lake. 

Let yourself be fascinated by the art of the nineteenth century at the Vincenzo Vela Museum and the painting exhibitions at the Giovanni Zust Cantonal Art Gallery in Rancate. For the enjoyment of young and old alike, visit the train museum in Mendrisio or immerse yourself in the miniature Switzerland of Swissminiatur in Melide. For lovers of natural history, the Museum of Fossils in Meride collects fossils of animals and plants from the deposits of Monte San Giorgio.

Finally, immerse yourself in the historical and cultural heritage of the local community by visiting the Muggio Valley Ethnographic Museum.

For shopping lovers, a stop at FoxTown in Mendrisio, open 7 days a week, or at the Serfontana shopping center located just beyond Chiasso, is a must.

Come and taste the typical Ticino cuisine in the restaurants that have an agreement with us: the Crotto dei Tigli in Balerna, the Ristorante Pizzeria Al Gaggio in Novazzano and the Antico Grotto Ticino in Mendrisio. Not to be missed are also the Grotto Bundi and the Osteria Caffè Luis in Chiasso.

How to get there:

By car, from the A2 freeway take exit 52-Mendrisio towards Mendrisio and set the GPS: in 10 minutes you will reach the apartment.

By train, get off at Mendrisio station and take bus 517 direction "Chiasso, Stazione" for 10 stops. Get off at the stop "Brusate, Nord" and walk for 3 minutes to the apartment. Or, get off at Chiasso station and take bus 517 direction "Mendrisio, Stazione" for 15 stops. Get off at the stop "Brusata, Nord" and walk for 3 minutes to the apartment.
