CASA TOR MORCOTE

Enjoy the wonderful view of Lake Lugano from the windows and the lovely balconies of CASA TOR, a 3-storey house consisting of two apartments, set in a stately building on the lakefront of Morcote. 

CASA TOR is the perfect solution for a relaxing vacation between couples or groups of friends and family, where everyone can have space and privacy. It is also ideal for business stays between colleagues or teams, or for those who have service staff who want to accommodate separately in the smaller apartment.

On the second floor there is the two-room apartment with large living room with view, equipped kitchen and dining table for 4, a double bedroom with lake view and an original bathroom with shower.
On the second floor, going up the winding staircase, you will find the three-room duplex apartment on two levels.

You will feel at home in the large living room, sitting on the armchair in the company of a good book, or on the sofa sipping a good local wine, looking at the lake. Next door, the large dining room, with a table for 6 people, and the modern kitchen complete with everything you need to prepare and serve meals.

On this floor there is also a practical service bathroom.

Going up the staircase you reach the sleeping area with two bedrooms, the master bedroom and the large suite overlooking two sides and with a relaxation area and wardrobe furnished with armchairs.

The apartment is completed by the master bathroom with Jacuzzi.


Washing machine and dryer (in the kitchen) are available to guests in both apartments.


A towel set is included for each person, together with bed sheets and blankets; we also give you a courtesy kit. We also leave a basket with the necessary for a breakfast.

Free Wi-Fi for the guests.

The flat does not have a private parking space, but you can park in the public car parks along the street or in the large communal car park (parking charges apply).

Any commercial business is forbidden inside the apartment.

Smoking is forbidden.

- DISINFECTION of the keybox and keys

- COMPLETE CLEANING of the apartment with attention to SANITIZATION of all surfaces and use of specific products

- STERILIZATION of the dishes

- Careful disinfection of handles, switches, remote controls

Access:

To enter the apartment you have to do a SELF CHECK-IN: we will not be there at your arrival, but upon confirmation of your booking you will receive an e-mail with the INSTRUCTIONS, with photographs and VIDEO for doing check-in by yourself; you can call us if you need help.

Surroundings:

Morcote is one of the most beautiful villages in Switzerland, also called the "Pearl of Ceresio". 

Visit the beautiful Scherrer Park, with rare botanical species and various exotic plants. Don't miss the Church of Santa Maria del Sasso, the monumental staircase and the Torre del Capitano.

Stroll along the lakeside promenade and under the arcades, discovering the shops, boutiques and restaurants, and reach the bathing area in just 5 minutes. From the port of Morcote, you can buy boat tickets and visit the various tourist destinations on the lake.

How to get there:

If you arrive by train, from Melide train station take bus N.431 (direction Lugano, Autosilo Balestra) for 7 stops (approx. 11 minutes) and get off at the stop "Morcote, Piazza Grande". Walk for about 2 minutes (180 m) to reach the building. 

If you arrive by car, from the A2 motorway take the exit "Melide" and follow the GPS directions: in 8 minutes you will reach the flat. Before the village, coming from Melide, at the beginning of Morcote, there is a big sign on the right indicating a municipal car park, where you can leave your car at a convenient rate. From there, walk 200 m to reach the flat.
