This cozy detached house with a rustic flavor is located in Piandera, in the mountains of Val Colla, 20 minutes from Lugano.
On the first floor, the large living room has a dining area, with a round table for 4 people (expandable up to 6 people), a wooden sideboard and a filled bookcase where you can draw for a pleasant read. There is also a small table perfect for study and work, right next to the window, from where you can catch a glimpse of the tree foliage and surrounding woods.
Next to it is the TV area with comfortable armchairs for social conversation or watching a movie at the end of the day.
The kitchen is separate and equipped with everything you need to prepare lunches and dinners as at home, also suitable for longer stays. A room used as a study is available for guests, with a large desk for writing, reading, working and studying.
Climbing the stairs leads to the second floor, the sleeping area, with two large bedrooms, one double and one twin with two single beds, making the house perfect for both families and groups of friends.
There are two bathrooms, one with shower and one with bathtub, shared on the two floors.
There is a terrace on the second floor, and the house and is surrounded by a large garden with table, chairs, and deck chairs to enjoy the outdoors in all seasons, the cool weather in summer, and the panoramic view of the mountains surrounding Piandera.
A set of towels is included in the stay for each person, along with sheets and blankets and a courtesy kit. We also leave a basket with the necessities for a breakfast.
Guests have covered outdoor parking available.

Val Colla is a mountain nature area in the Lugano region that has numerous hiking trails and just as many varied trails for mountain bikers.
A paradise for cyclists and walkers, who will find in this area an oasis for their favorite activities, just 25 minutes from the city center of Lugano!
Val Colla Bike No. 360, a scenic MTB trail (red signs) of about 27 km, passes through here.
How to get there:
By car, from the A2 highway take the Lugano North exit and set your GPS: in 25 minutes you'll arrive at the apartment.
By train, from Lugano station, take bus No. 461 direction "Villa Lugano" for 18 stops and get off at "Sonvico, ARL Station." From here, take bus No. 447 direction "Tesserete, Stazione" for 12 stops and get off at the stop "Piandera, Bivio per Cimadera."
