Immersed in the charming and ancient village of Rovio, CASA D’ARTISTA is a surprise with an eclectic soul: this original holiday home can accommodate up to 4 people, perfect for families or groups of friends but also for couples who love special stays!

Upon entering, the large living room welcomes you with a TV area, with a comfortable sofa in which to relax at the end of the day and watch a movie, which becomes a double bed for the night.

The built-in kitchen is perfectly organized and equipped with everything you need to prepare lunches and dinners like at home!

In the spacious double bedroom, the minimal furniture gives space to the artistic vein and the perfect atmosphere for working too: the desk is the perfect workstation for your smart working!

A bathroom with shower completes the apartment.

A towel set is included for each person, together with bed sheets and blankets; we also give you a courtesy kit. We also leave a basket with the necessary for a breakfast. 
Free Wi-Fi for the guests.

Any commercial business is forbidden inside the apartment.

Guests have the access of the whole apartment.

To enter the apartment you have to do a SELF CHECK-IN: we will not be there at your arrival, but upon confirmation of your booking you will receive an e-mail with the INSTRUCTIONS, with photographs and VIDEO for doing check-in by yourself; you can call us if you need help.


Around:

CASA D’ARTISTA is in the historic center of the town of Rovio, a picturesque town located between Lake Lugano and Mount Generoso. Strolling along the cobbled streets, colored by the flower pots of the houses, you will admire nineteenth-century buildings and ancient fountains, in a village that seems to have stood still in time.
From here starts one of the most panoramic paths to reach the summit of Monte Generoso, with its spectacular view of Lake Lugano and its Fiore di Pietra, the modern refuge designed by the famous Swiss architect Mario Botta.
Rovio is also a land of wines, to be tasted in the restaurants and caves of the town in combination with local cheeses and cured meats.
Lake Lugano can be reached in just 10 minutes by car. The closest Lido is that of Bissone, with access to the lake and Olympic swimming pool, just 15 minutes by car from Rovio.


How to arrive:

From the A2 motorway, take the Melide exit and drive along the cantonal road. Turn into via delle Scuole and continue along Via alla Costa as far as the Rovio center.
If you are by train, from the Maroggia-Melano station take bus 541 towards "Arogno, Paese" for 6 stops and get off at the "Rovio, Paese" stop.
