If you are looking for a house where you can spend your vacations with your family or friends enjoying the warm sun and the lush landscapes of the area, CASA CIGNO is the ideal solution for you! 

This nice duplex located in a quiet residential area of Minusio can accommodate up to 4 people. The strategic location allows you to reach in a few minutes walk the essential services of the area, such as supermarkets, bakery and pharmacy. Also the train station, the lake and the Piazza Grande are easily reachable on foot.

The ground floor consists of a pleasant living room in which to relax, equipped with sofas, coffee table, TV with replay and fireplace (WARNING: the fireplace is only decorative and CANNOT BE USED!).

The kitchen is large, equipped with everything you need to cook meals (even raclette and cheese fondue) and a rectangular table for 5-6 people.

In the small but very comfortable laundry room with toilet you can do your laundry independently thanks to the washing machine and dryer.

Going up the staircase you will reach the 2 bedrooms: a large and sunny double bedroom, furnished with a spacious closet and a relaxing armchair, and a more modest and bright one with its own closet, a single bed and a single sofa bed (Please note: the sofa bed is not prepared for your arrival, as we consider it only fair that you use the sofa during non-sleeping hours. You will find sheets, pillows and blankets in the cupboard/shelf closest to the sofa). Both rooms are equipped with a desk and an Ethernet cable internet connection.

The comfort is maximum: the double and single beds have adjustable slatted bases for your back!

The floor ends with a nice bathroom with bathtub.

The house has a spacious terrace furnished with barbecue and a table perfect to enjoy aperitifs, lunches and dinners in the climate of Ticino.

A set of towels is included in the stay for each person, along with sheets and blankets and a courtesy kit. We also leave a basket with the necessary for a breakfast.

Wifi is free and available to guests. Private outdoor parking a few minutes from the property.

Small room: single bed 90 x 200 cm, single sofa bed 80 x 200 cm (provided with mattress)

Access: This is a SELF CHECK-IN apartment: we will not be present at the property at the time of your arrival, but at the time of confirmation of your reservation you will receive an email with INSTRUCTIONS with photos and VIDEO for the entrance and parking, also, we will be available by phone for assistance.

Smoking is not allowed.

It is forbidden any commercial activity inside the apartment.

Minusio is a picturesque village overlooking Lake Maggiore. From here you can reach in a short time on foot or by bike the city of Locarno through the magnificent scenic route: along it, you will discover ancient villas, restaurants, cafes, beaches, up to the lakefront of Muralto, the Lido di Locarno, the Peace Park and the Park of Camellias. In 10 minutes on foot you can reach the Locarno train station, in 15 minutes the Lungolago G. Motta, or the center of Locarno.

If you want to take the car, in 6 minutes you are at your destination.

How to get there:

By car, from the A2 highway, take exit 48 Rivera towards Monte Ceneri. Take the A13 towards Locarno/Tenero. Take the exit towards Orselina/Brione s/M/Muralto/Minusio, continue on Via S. Gottardo/Strada 13 and in 5 minutes you will be at the house.

By train, from the station Bellinzona take the train to Locarno, then go to the bus stop n.1. In 3 minutes you will arrive in Muralto and in 2 minutes on foot you will have reached your destination.
